Lifting of the naval blockade

Because of the so-called „Hunger blockade“ the Germans consider England as an arch enemy: „God will punish England“ - air ship and u-boat symbolize the revenge upon Great Britain

On 12 July 1919 – about eight months after the cease fire takes effect – the allied naval blockade against the German Reich is finally lifted. The Germans named it the „hunger blockade“. Since 1914, ca. 750,000 citizens had become its victims.
