Major manoeuvre in eastern Germany

With absolute determination Adolf Hitler pursues his goal of having the German Reich ready for war by the end of 1940 at the latest. On 19 September 1937 in eastern Germany, coordinated manoeuvres are initiated by the three main branches of the armed services: army, navy and air force. At the same time, a week-long air-raid drill is carried out in Berlin.
