Undertakes large-scale deliveries of raw materials and goods as well as capital investment for the purpose of reconstruction.

Bedeutung
The Marshall Plan markedly accelerates the economic reconstruction of the countries of Western Europe.
The USSR rejects the program as an “instrument of dollar imperialism” and forces the withdrawal by the governments of Poland and Czechoslovakia, which had already agreed to participate in the Marshall Plan Conference in Paris (July-September 1947).
