Plebiscites in East and West Russia

According to the provisions of the Versailles Peace Treaty the populations of the southern part of East Prussia (area around Allenstein) and the north-eastern part of West Prussia are supposed to decide through plebiscites on whether to belong in future to the German Reich (East Prussia) or to Poland. In the plebiscites of 11 July 1920, over 90 percent of residents in these areas vote for Germany.
