Sailor's peace demonstration

Initial resistance against continuation of the war is stirring in the German army. On 2 August 1917 in Wilhelmshaven, 400 sailors demonstrate for a peace treaty. According to martial law, the „ringleaders“ of the mutiny are executed by firing squad on 25 August 1917.
