Withdrawal from initial Ruhr District postponed

On 10 January 1925, the Allied Control Commission announces that the previously promised initial withdrawal from a zone of the occupied Ruhr District (Cologne and vicinity) would be postponed for an indefinite period. The German Reich is reproached for alleged violations against disarmament provisions of the Versailles Peace Treaty.
